PERSONAL DECISION COACHING FOR
ADULTS & YOUNG PEOPLE
Bring possibility and purpose back to your life.
HELLO & WELCOME
Everything you need to flourish is already inside you.
If you’re feeling lost, stuck or overwhelmed, I’ll help you understand yourself and work out what you want to do - and who you want to be - next.
What are you going to do next?
Hi, my name’s Annabel - I've spent more than thirty years helping people answer that question.
High-stakes decisions and choices can be overwhelming:
Everyone offers you advice
you’re worried about what you ought to do
you want people you care about to be happy
you feel pulled in different directions and
you don’t know what you think anymore.
Working with me creates the space for you to hear your own voice. You’ll be able to work out what you want to do, who you want to be and how to communicate that compellingly to others . Then you can create a life that’s unmistakably yours.
How I help you
We start by understanding you: what matters to you, what shapes your decisions, what you believe about yourself, what might be holding you back.
We look at the stories you’ve been told about yourself, what’s true, what’s not and what’s missing.
We work at your pace and in your way. I will challenge you, encourage you and give you the space to think deeply.
You decide what to take with you, what to leave behind, and where you want to go next.

FAQS
FAQS
-
Working with me is relaxed, there’s no agenda. You have time and space to think. I help you hear what you’re saying, and I ask you questions. We often laugh and sometimes it can be emotional. I don’t give you advice - you’re the expert on you - I help you find, develop and trust your own answers.
-
I work with young adults aged 18–30 through The Missing Subject, and with adults through The Shortest Path. The people I work with are often at a point where they need something to change, but they don’t know what they want or what to do. Around 40% of the people I work with are men.
-
Writing really helps to get your unconscious working between our sessions, so you’re much more likely to make connections and gain insights, awareness and more clarity. We have so much useful information to share with ourselves, but often we’re not listening. Many of my clients feel awkward about it at first, but it soon becomes easy. You don’t have to show anyone what you write.
-
The Missing Subject is my coaching programme for young adults aged 18–30 who don't know what to do next. It is about understanding yourself before making the big decisions about your future — finding your own voice, trusting yourself and working out what you want. It gives you confidence and gives other people confidence in you.
-
That's fine. You don't need to start knowing the answer. That’s the work we do together. As your confidence builds and you develop your sense of purpose, you’ll become more ambitious and your possibilities will grow.
-
Yes! I don't give careers advice or tell you what you should do. I help you understand yourself, grow your confidence, be ambitious and explore bold opportunities. When you come to apply for places or jobs, you’ll be able to make a compelling case for why they should choose you.
-
Yes. Understanding yourself is only part of the work. I can also help you communicate confidently and compellingly, so you sound like you - whether that's in a UCAS personal statement, a job application or a conversation with someone who can help you get where you want to go.
-
The Shortest Path is my work with adults who are ready to move from the life they have to the life they want. It gives you the time and space to stop, think and explore what you really want and who you want to be next - then work out what needs to change.
-
I’m an experienced transformative coach, so I don’t just work at the surface level. I’ve done lots of training and am double-credentialed, but I have also developed my own approaches and programmes based on 30 years working with young people and adults all over the world. I believe that writing can help activate your deepest thoughts and connections, and help you find the pieces of yourself that may have got lost or squashed over the years.
-
Yes. When you know who you are and what you want and it feels right, you will feel confident and clear, and you will be able to communicate that compellingly to other people. They will recognise your unique voice - which won’t sound like AI or anyone else.
-
Coaching is different from therapy and counselling because it’s future-facing. Your past is an important part of understanding yourself, but our focus is how understanding yourself better helps you move forward in a way that feels right for you. If I think you would benefit from therapeutic or clinical support, I will help you to find the right person for that.

If there are things here that resonate or make sense for you, and if you want things in your life to change, the next step is to book a free call so we can talk. Then you can tell me about your situation and ask any questions. A successful partnership needs to feel right for both of us.
